You, Me, and the Uncertainty by Aidan Oliver
Uncertainty lies in bed beside us.
It watches as we lock lips
with the vigor and viciousness,
as if it were our first time.
Yet as we three become one
I treat each moment like it is my last.
I no longer allow the clouds in my mind
to rob me of your rays which spill
like sweet honey upon my skin.
Your symphonic trembling
beneath my flaming body
grants me a pleasure truly unrivaled.
Beneath my eyelids I am there again
in the night that never ends,
until you, me, and the uncertainty
are laid to rest beneath our bed of dirt.
