CHEYENNE METZ is a 17 year old who has passions in many arts such as poetry, acting and music.
She was an opening poet for The Women of Color Symposium at University of Toledo, Kevin Powell for
the Toledo Museum of Arts in their Black History showcase, and has won first place in two slam poetry
competitions. She is the holder of the Trio Trailblazer award for spoken word and has performed for the
Dr. Martin Luther King tribute. Cheyenne has also been seen performing her poetry in front of the Mayor
of Toledo. As a senior and her highschool’s homecoming queen. Cheyenne is currently looking forward
to graduating from high-school and pursing her education in college.
